1996PJ Shows

September 22, 1996 John F. Savage Hall – Toledo, OH

Show Notes

Ed totally botches the start of ‘I Got Shit.’ He tells everyone that has to go to school the next day that he’ll write them excuse notes (so they can continue to play). A stunning closing with ‘Indifference’ with the house lights up. A solid show before a smallish crowd.

Notes: Both recordings are good, and complemented each other well. The countryman sources tend to lack low end, and the Nak gave it some added depth. Due to what I assume was some kind of weird transfer error, the Nak recording ran almost 9% slow, so it’s speed was matched to the CMII. There is some light mic noise/rumble in the CMII source that can sometimes be heard between songs.

There isn’t much noteworthy about this show. Short, standard setlist, and although there really were no bad shows at this time, overall it’s not as good as the shows that came after it on this short tour.
