November 16, 1993 UNO Lakefront Arena – New Orleans, LA

Show Notes

An upbeat, enthused show. Ed introduces ‘Animal’ as a song about his mother. The encore begins with Ed saying “This is a song for someone who’s here tonight and they know who it is and it’s by Pete Townshend, leading to a lovely version of ‘The Kids are Alright,’ performed by Ed solo. PJ premiers ‘Last Exit,’ with Ed bringing a sheet of paper out and saying, “These are words for a new song no one has heard before … I don’t think Mike knows it yet.” Later he asks the crowd if they want “a fast song or a slow song,” and they do ‘Sonic Reducer.’

We offer all our concerts in FLAC format. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec and is used to compress sound clips without loss of quality. FLAC is often compared to MP3, only there is a loss of quality when converting to MP3. For the true audiophile, FLAC offers much better quality than MP3.
