March 22, 1994 Cleveland State University Convocation Center – Cleveland, OH

Show Notes

‘Alone’ is started out with Ed singing, “so lonely, so lonely,” like The Police song. ‘Sheraton Gibson’ is introduced as a “really cool song” and it was written by Ed’s mentor, Pete Townshend, who had written the song many years before in Cleveland. He asks the audience to be real quiet so they can hear it. ‘Sheraton Gibson’ hasn’t resurfaced on a PJ setlist since this show. Grant Lee Buffalo join PJ for ‘Rockin’ in the Free World.’

Notes: This source is plagued with problems. First of all, it suffers from the “screaming girl syndrome”. Also,
there were many cuts inbetween songs, probably where the taper paused the recording inbetween songs. Unfortunately,
the Aiwa is the only known source for this show. Some problems have been corrected through editing, but many of
the faults still remain.

Audio 1

We offer all our concerts in FLAC format. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec and is used to compress sound clips without loss of quality. FLAC is often compared to MP3, only there is a loss of quality when converting to MP3. For the true audiophile, FLAC offers much better quality than MP3.
